Join Us in the Fight Against Food Insecurity in DC
Discover One More Plate, Inc. – We're on a mission to bridge the food insecurity gap for those facing homelessness in our community. With an energetic team at our core, we transform compassion into action by delivering hot meals directly to those in need.
Our journey began with a simple yet powerful initiative, "One More Plate," on April 1st, aiming to provide those experiencing homelessness and hunger in our community with reliable access to nutritious meals. What started as a single act of kindness in DuPont Circle has blossomed into a city-wide Crusade Against Hunger. To date, we've proudly delivered over 25,000 plates, encompassing hot meals, water, juice, and snacks, across a growing route in greater DC. As we continue to expand our reach, our goal remains steadfast: to build a comprehensive network ensuring no one experiencing homelessness goes without food. One More Plate’s commitment has been recognized and celebrated, highlighting the ongoing need and impact of our team’s work in the community.

Our mission thrives on partnerships with CHEFS and RESTAURANTS! Our amazing restaurants and chefs donate not just meals, but also their time and resources, ensuring that the food we distribute is food we’d be grateful to have. To support their overhead for this mission, please click on the appropriate link to order from their menu. You’ll also have the option to select “One More Plate” a la carte or in addition to your meal to contribute to their donations. Interested in becoming a partner?
